Guy Kawasaki on Funding

I wrote about Guy before - he’s the person who pretty much created the concept of a product evangelist during his time at Apple. Since quite a while he runs Garage Technology Ventures, an early stage venture fund and does quite a bit of public speaking.

Recently he spoke at an event from Montgomery & Hansen where he discussed his view of ‘the art of raising capital’. The videos are definitely worth a look - Guy has some great advise for everyone in the early stages of the game.

Best quote in video #1 around 2:50 min: “[...] this means that almost by definition in three or four years, you have to be able to - without being on cocaine or crack at the current moment you to saying this - you have to believe that you could be doing 75 or 100 million dollars in revenue.” Priceless!
